manual timesheets/web entry

If you wish, staff can continue to complete manual timesheets and then key the data into the easyLog software. Remote staff with access to the internet can enter their hours directly using a web service software application. Alternatively you can accept hours of attendance automatically from the shifts on the staff rota without providing additional attendance data.

i-Button reader with USB connection

This i-Button reader is connected by a cable to a USB port on a PC. Staff register their attendance by placing their tag on the reader. If the tag is recognised, a window appears on the PC screen confirming the name and the current date and time and prompting them to click on an In or Out button. Attendance times are automatically passed into the e-Log software.

Off-line terminal with i-Button tags

This clocking terminal operates with i-button tags that are issued to each employee. The chromium-plated buttons are hard wearing, about the size of a pound coin and are fitted onto a plastic handle that can be attached to a key ring.

The terminal requires no cabling connection to a PC and can be sited at any suitable indoor location. Clocking data is collected from the terminal by touching a data transfer tag against the unit. This is transferred to the software for analysis by inserting the data transfer tag into a reader attached to a PC.

On-line terminal with i-Button tags

This terminal automatically transfers employee attendance times into the software and therefore provides an instant record of a person’s entry or exit from the building. It requires a cable connection directly into a PC or to an Ethernet network with a specified IP address. If communication between the terminal and the PC or network is lost, staff can continue to record attendance times. These are kept in the unit and passed on when the connection is restored. The terminal can also read bar-coded or magnetic stripe badges.

on-line terminal with fingerprint reader

This terminal instantly transfers employee attendance times into the software by recognising the individual fingerprints of staff. It requires a cable connection directly into a PC or an Ethernet network.

Touch-screen terminal with fingerprint reader

This terminal combines a fingerprint reader with a 10.4 inch touch-screen, making it very easy to use and enabling employees to view and request holiday leave. Managers and staff can also communicate shift requests and availability. The terminal works with our range of care-home management software, so it can be used to view and record resident care information and as an enquiry screen for visiting relatives.

on-line hand-scanner terminal

This reader recognises an individual by the shape of his or her hand, making it particularly useful for dirtier environments. Although this method is less precise than fingerprint detection, it is normally adequate for most non-security recording purposes. In all other respects, the hand-scanner operates identically to the on-line fingerprint terminal.

New flexible i-Button terminal

easyLog’s aB-Log terminal is a cost-effective and highly flexible staff time recording solution for situations where a few employees are attending a site and there may not be IT communications in place or even mains electricity. The terminal can be operated by battery or mains power and can transfer clocking data by manual download or automatically via Bluetooth or GPRS SIM-card.

mobile phones and smart phones

Attendance recording is available on a range of mobile phone handsets, including smart phones. A small module of our software, or app, is downloaded onto the device and provides a simple facility to record attendance and location with automatic transfer to the main system.

Our timesheet and scheduling management software can be mixed and matched with a variety of employee attendance recording options. This page provides a basic guide to the current range – please call us on 01892 834406 to discuss the best solution for your organisation’s needs.
