We believe there are two key factors to computerising care records successfully: allowing users to define their own care record sets and ensuring that care data can be viewed and updated as simply and efficiently as possible.
With these principles in mind, we offer convenient, mobile technology-based hardware options with our care-Log+ software.
Tablet computer – as an on-line device, a wireless (wi-fi) tablet returns and receives new information as it is entered. It requires an 802.11b/g WLAN standard wireless network for this mode.
This option supports management of care plans, body maps and risk, as well as health assessment reviews and updates, so care records can be administered efficiently wherever carers are needed.
Units may also be used without a wireless connection and updated by USB cable.
Mobile devices mean that care records can be available anywhere, providing instant access to key information – such as relatives’ contact and GP details, medication and essential health checks – and enabling carers to record daily care notes and care plan evaluations as they go.

Smartphones – carers’ phones can be uploaded with the care-Log+ software enabling updated information to be sent and received in real time using the phone’s WAP facility.
This option may suit supervisory or on-call staff working away from the primary care location where access to service user information is required infrequently. It is also ideal for those that require a low-cost option for carers who are often in the community.
easyLog's software can operate on any smartphone running Windows Mobile Version 6 or above or Android 2.2 and above.
