easyLog’s care-Log+ software is a flexible product for care recording, administrative and financial management in the residential, extra care and supported-living care sectors. As a web-based software application, it can be implemented on a single or multi-home basis with a centralised or separate databases.
care-Log+ has four main design principles:
The result is a care recording system that allows managers and carers to deliver person-centred care knowing that nothing is overlooked. Prompts highlight upcoming events and actions and actively forewarn of related actions and possible signs of deterioration of a service user.

Carers can use handheld computers and touch-screen terminals to view and record resident information wherever they are, rather than returning to a central computer, so they spend more time providing care. Touch-screen data entry makes data retrieval and entry simple, even for those with little computer experience.
As well as supporting care management, the system can keep a record of resident enquiries, staff details, risk assessments, complaints, health and safety, policies and procedures and financial and invoice information. Follow-up or completion dates can be set for any event and warnings automatically generated if targets are not met.
A personnel module stores details of previous employment, training, supervision/personnel reviews, sickness, maternity leave, qualifications and inoculations, etc. Induction and training requirements can be defined per carer with completion date ranges for any element. Unperformed actions are automatically highlighted and prompts are generated until completion.
