Timesheet management with payroll analysis - e-Log+
Simple and effective timesheet and payroll analysis management
e-Log+ provides a simple solution for monitoring employee attendance and automating the calculation of the number of hours to be paid at each appropriate pay rate per member of staff.
e-Log+ compares the clockings of each employee against a list of definable shifts. Each shift contains details of when any pay rate is paid within it (e.g. standard rate from Monday to Friday and weekend rate on Saturday and Sunday, etc). Any period of attendance found to match a corresponding shift is automatically reported as paid hours at the relevant pay rate. All staff hours outside of the shift times are identified in an exception summary that allows them to be individually reviewed and then paid, part paid or disallowed. Additionally, a public holidays’ feature enables the dates of any holiday period to be defined and then automatically converts the normal pay rate for the day to a definable premium rate.
Staff can register their attendance electronically through a variety of electronic clocking terminals that allow employees to automatically record their entry and exit at the workplace and, if implemented, gain access to the premises. Please click on the following link to view the current range of options.
The hours to be paid information can be passed into any third party payroll product for wage calculation.
e-Log+ also contains a personnel module that records previous employment, training, supervision/personnel reviews, sickness absence, qualifications and inoculations.
e-Log+ can be integrated with our care-Log+ system to provide a complete care home management system for care record, employee and financial management. Click on the link to read more.
· An automatically calculated weekly (or any period range) time sheet from the clockings
provided by each employee. This details all clockings, the hours of attendance and any holiday, maternity leave and sickness absenteeism
with break down by pay rate.
· Rounding rules can be applied per employee or group of employees to calculate

· Multiple pay rates per employee or employee group defined by time within
the week. For example an employee may be paid a basic rate during the week and an enhanced rate at weekends. Similarly this can be
used to reflect an employee moving from standard to overtime rate at a certain time of any day.
· The
recording and reporting of holiday, sickness and maternity leave absence on a calendar per employee.
· Unpaid break time can be automatically removed from an employee or group of employees according to a user definable table of rules.
For example, an employee may have 30 minutes deducted from their paid hours if they attend for at least 6 hours but 60 minutes deducted
from their paid time if they attend for 9 hours or more in a day.
· The definition of an unlimited number
of ‘standard’ shift times against which the attendance hours of each employee are compared. If a match is found the hours are analysed
and recorded against the appropriate pay rate or rates operating for the period of attendance. If no match is found, an exception
routine automatically highlights the period and enables the time to be paid in full, part paid or disallowed for payment.
· Pay rates can be automatically varied on any public holiday
· A weekly budget can be defined per job
function and hours are automatically compared against this with a variance shown
· The contracted hours
of each employee can be defined and a comparison made against these for any reporting period with a highlighted variance.
· A Personnel Database that records details on previous employment, qualifications, training, personnel reviews with follow up actions,
sickness record and healthcare programme.
· Reports include weekly timesheets, summary of hours to be
paid across any period, sickness absenteeism by day of the week and reason, holiday time taken and remaining in hours and days, etc
· All reports can be exported into Excel, be automatically e-mailed and be viewed across the Internet
· An appropriate, uncomplicated and reasonably priced system that automatically
and accurately monitors and calculates hours to be paid
· Has sensible levels of functionality that enable
swift implementation for both service and manufacturing sector organisations
· Comes as a complete package
including choice of clocking terminal and employee badge media
· Available with simple timesheet entry
screen if staff clocking is not required
· Fully documented
