Timesheets, attendance monitoring and employee management
easyLog has developed the e-Log module as the starting point of its successful
range of attendance monitoring and staff scheduling solutions. The software successfully balances ease of use with a flexibility of
implementation normally associated with systems costing far more.
e-Log provides the facilities to monitor staff attendance electronically
and then apply some simple rounding rules to calculate the actual hours of attendance to be paid after any unpaid break periods are
automatically deducted. The software enables holiday, sickness and maternity absenteeism to be recorded together with any time spent
on training activities or courses on a calendar.
Employee attendance recording
Staff can register their attendance electronically
through a variety of electronic clocking terminals that allow staff to automatically record their entry and exit at the workplace
and, if implemented, gain access to the premises. Please click on the following link to view the current range of options.
e-Log can be integrated with our care-Log+ system to provide a complete care home management system for care record, employee
and financial management. Click on the link to read more.
Key product features
+ An automatically calculated weekly time sheet from the clockings provided by each employee. This details all
clockings, the hours of attendance and any holiday, maternity leave and sickness absenteeism
+ Rounding rules can be applied per employee
or group of employees to calculate and define the actual number of hours to be paid. For example, the rule could be set to determine
if a person clocking on at 8.03am would be paid from 8.00am or 8.15am or 8.30am

and maternity leave absence on a calendar per employee
+ Unpaid break time can be automatically removed from an employee or group

Customer comment
"The e-Log system has now been installed in both our nursing homes for over six years. The cards and terminals
have been in use every day during that period and have never let us down, despite sometimes over-eager usage by the staff. The
system has made an enormous difference to our business as we are now able to confidently monitor and accurately record attendance.
We calculated that we were able to completely recover the cost of both terminals within the first 18 months through having a more
accurate awareness of who was starting their shift late (or leaving early).
"The system replaced a paper based punch machine
which caused many headaches. The difference since introduction has been astounding and on the occasions we have needed to contact
your technical support team, they have been able to sort out the problem over the phone quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate
to recommend the system to anyone looking to improve the efficiency and allocation of staff within their organisation.
"With thanks again for the service and support to date."
