Now you can be sure that Night Checks have been done!
Simple and low-cost night check attendance recording
a-Log is a simple and inexpensive electronic solution for monitoring and recording that night checks within a residential care setting or calls in a supported living environment have been performed.
The product is easy to use, supplied as a complete system and removes the need for manually written timesheets.
Each room or visit location is allocated an unobtrusive stainless steel Identifier button (about the size of a Pound coin) which can be attached to any suitable point within the room. Equally the Identifier button can be placed or glued into a folder or other documentation. The device contains a unique number and this is used by the software application to identify the location.
The worker is issued with a 'Wand' - a small battery powered handheld device - and they simply touch the location Identifier button with the Wand on entry and, if required, again on departure. When convenient at the end of the shift, the Wand is uploaded by connecting it to a PC using the cable supplied as part of the package.
The software produces summary and detailed reports for each member of staff, an individual location or multiple monitoring points within an entire site showing the time (and duration) of attendance and proving that the attendance required is being provided. Exception reporting identifies where visits have been overlooked to enable preventative action to be taken in future.
Further reports include the calculation of total and average attendance times across any period by site and employee. An expected or budgeted period of attendance can be defined for any location and reports will highlight comparisons against this providing detailed supporting evidence of any additional care that is being provided
