The software enables you to produce detailed reports for each employee and location, proving time and duration of attendance.
Contractual attendance times can be set against each client and monitored automatically against visits made. Any exceptions are highlighted, enabling remedial action to be taken.

Attendance records are stored in the handheld device until transmitted via mobile phone. So, if an employee forgets their mobile, has a flat battery or can’t get a signal, there will still be a record of their attendance – provided they were there.

Each location is allocated an identifier, a stainless steel button that can be fixed to any suitable point within the site or a document folder. The identifier requires no maintenance and is water- and tamper-proof, so it can be fitted outside. The device contains a unique number, which is used by the software application to identify the specific location.
Employees touch a small handheld device against the identifier on arrival and departure. The handheld unit contains a Bluetooth wireless transmitter that instructs the employee’s mobile phone to send a text message back to the host computer. This is automatically converted into an attendance record within the ar-Log software application.
ar-Log is a cost-effective system for any off-site care provider that wants to know immediately when its staff arrive at and leave a particular location, such as a service user’s home. The system operates in conjunction with the employee’s mobile phone to produce accurate on-line attendance reporting and highlight any late arrival instantly.
