care-Log HomeCare has been designed to make the most of the versatility and convenience of modern technology. As a client/server web-based application, it can be operated across multiple locations using only a broadband link.
It enables carers in the field to use tablet computers or mobile phones to supply information about service users directly to management and supervisory staff. These mobile devices hold medical, geographical and care visit information relating to service users, as well as allowing staff to log problems.

Carer attendance can be recorded by any suitable system – telephone logging, mobile phone or portable handheld device – with details being passed to care-Log HomeCare for automatic comparison with the staff schedule and calculation of hours to be paid.
The product you need depends on whether you:
- Have multiple staff going to a small number of locations (for example, a supported living unit), or few staff going to multiple locations (for example, carers visiting service users at home)?
- Want to receive the attendance record immediately (an on-line, or real time, system) or to view it later at a more convenient time (an off-line system)?
